HOUSEKEEPING

Registration, lunch, and author signings will all take place outdoors, so bring some warm layers to stay cozy.
We’ll be sending out timely updates via text on the day of the event, so keep an eye on your phone and reply to this email to let us know if you’d like to update your number.
You should have received your ticket via email. To have it sent again, reply to this email or send a note to us at romcon@831stories.com.

FOOD & DRINK

Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Boxed lunches from Sahadi’s will be provided with options for chicken, fish, vegetarian, and vegan. You’ll receive a ticket at registration for your timed lunch assignment at 12:30, 1, or 1:30 P.M.
If you shared a dietary restriction or allergy that requires a modified meal, your lunch will be labeled with your name at the vegetarian/vegan table.
Please note that allergens are present in Sahadi’s kitchen, and we cannot guarantee that meals are free from cross-contact.
Happy hour will kick off at 5:30 P.M. and wrap up at 6:30 P.M.
If you’d like to start thinking about post-RomCon dinner plans, there are lots of dining options on the Industry City campus.

ARC GIVEAWAYS

You will receive a ticket for the ARC giveaway upon registration and will turn it in at the Warby Parker book cart during your assigned lunch wave in exchange for a tote with two ARCs. If you didn’t get the one you were hoping for, feel free to trade!

AUTHOR SIGNINGS

If you haven’t already filled out your preferences for author signings, be sure to do that ASAP. If you’ve already filled them out, look out for your assignments in the coming days.
Books from featured authors will be available for purchase on-site from The Ripped Bodice and 831 Stories.
If you couldn’t find the specific book you were looking for or didn’t get a chance to snag it before the signing, we’ll provide bookplates for autographs.
You are welcome to bring books from home, but there will be a limit of two books signed per author per person. Personalization is at the discretion of the author.
You may have the option to queue in a standby line for signings you didn’t receive a ticket for, but priority will be given to ticketholders.

WHAT ELSE?

You might want to consider showing up in the colors of your favorite 831 book?! We have prizes for the best-dressed of the day.
The first 25 people to spend over $100 at the 831 booth will receive a Hulken rolling tote—we know you’ve got stuff to schlep.
